Hyderabad commuters traversing the key route between Durga Nagar and Aramghar are advised to plan their journeys carefully as essential cement concrete (CC) road construction has commenced under the railway bridge near Aramghar in the Ranga Reddy district.
This infrastructure upgrade, part of ongoing developments within the Rajendranagar Circle, will necessitate a temporary 15-day traffic diversion, impacting a crucial stretch used by vehicles travelling from LB Nagar towards Mehdipatnam. Authorities are urging public cooperation to ensure smooth traffic flow during this period of construction. The one-way route originating from Durga Nagar and heading towards Aramghar, a vital artery for a significant volume of daily commuters, is now temporarily closed to facilitate the necessary road development. This closure, effective for the next fortnight, will require vehicles to take designated alternate routes to navigate the area. The construction of the CC road is a significant step towards enhancing the durability and quality of the infrastructure in this busy corridor, promising long-term benefits for commuters through improved road conditions and reduced maintenance needs in the future.
To mitigate the inevitable disruption caused by this temporary closure, traffic authorities have proactively announced a clear traffic diversion plan. Commuters who typically use the affected route are now directed to use the Katedan Old Kurnool Road and the College Gate route as alternative pathways to reach their destinations. These diversions have been carefully planned to accommodate the anticipated traffic volume and minimise congestion on the surrounding road network. Rajendranagar Traffic Inspector Rajender Goud has issued a public appeal, urging all commuters to extend their full cooperation to the traffic police personnel on the ground and strictly adhere to the designated diversions. He emphasised the importance of public understanding and contribution in maintaining order and ensuring the smooth movement of traffic throughout the 15-day construction schedule. Inspector Goud acknowledged the inconvenience that such diversions may cause but highlighted the long-term benefits of the improved road infrastructure for the entire community.
