Telangana voter enrolment for graduates eligible to vote in two Legislative Council constituencies will close on November 6, leaving applicants in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad constituencies with a limited window to submit their forms.
According to Telangana Today, eligible graduates can apply online through the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer’s website, ceotelangana.nic.in. They can also submit Form 18 in person to Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, designated officers or additional designated officers.
Applicants are required to provide the documents and certificates specified for enrolment. Form 18 is used for registration in graduates’ constituencies, where eligibility depends on the prescribed graduate qualification and other electoral requirements.
The enrolment process is part of the preparation of electoral rolls for the two constituencies. The draft electoral rolls are scheduled to be published on November 25, giving applicants and other stakeholders an opportunity to check the entries and raise claims or objections.
The claims and objections period will run from November 25 to December 10. This stage allows eligible applicants to seek corrections or challenge omissions and inaccuracies in the draft rolls through the designated electoral authorities.
The final electoral rolls for the two Telangana graduates’ constituencies are scheduled to be published on December 30. Applicants who intend to participate in the constituency-level electoral process must complete their enrolment before the November 6 deadline and retain the relevant submission details for subsequent verification or objections.
