Pune: Indian Railways has expanded the operation of several seasonal train services, including routes serving Pune, to accommodate rising passenger demand during the festive and peak travel period. The extension of the Pune special trains is expected to ease pressure on heavily booked long-distance services while strengthening rail connectivity between Maharashtra and northern India.
