HYDERABAD: Recent monsoon showers have helped Hyderabad recover a significant portion of its seasonal rainfall deficit, offering temporary relief after a largely dry July. However, the city continues to receive below-normal rainfall, highlighting the uneven nature of this year’s monsoon and the continued importance of effective water resource management and climate resilience.
The Hyderabad rain deficit has reduced considerably over the past week, with cumulative seasonal rainfall improving to around 245 mm against the normal level of nearly 298 mm.
