The Hyderabad water supply disruption involves a 1,500-mm-diameter mild-steel gravity main belonging to the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-III, Ring Main-I. The pipeline junction needs to be modified to facilitate construction of a box drain at Bandlaguda X Road by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. The affected network covers a wide geographical area. Bandlaguda, Shastripuram, Shamshabad, Attapur, Kismatpur, Allabanda and Bhojagutta are among the locations expected to experience interruptions or reduced pressure. Parts of Jubilee Hills, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Tattikhana and Shaikpet are also expected to be affected.
