Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the facilities, according to an official press release cited by PTI.
Nadda and Naidu later visited the newly inaugurated units, where officials briefed them on their features. The inauguration brought together the Union and state leadership at a government hospital site that is now hosting both critical care infrastructure and integrated public health laboratory facilities.
The official release identified the laboratory units as Integrated Public Health Laboratories, or IPHLs.
