Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,349 crore in India, taking its financial year 2026-27 order inflows beyond ₹22,000 crore, the engineering and construction company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
The fresh contracts cover two of KPIL’s core businesses: power transmission and distribution (T&D), and buildings and factories (B&F). The announcement adds to the order pipeline of a company executing infrastructure projects across power and construction-related segments in India and international markets.
KPIL managing director and chief executive officer Manish Mohnot said the company was continuing to see robust growth across its T&D and B&F verticals. He said the latest contract wins strengthened KPIL’s market position in India’s infrastructure sector.
The company attributed its growth to its engineering, procurement and construction capabilities and its execution track record across domestic and international markets. The filing did not disclose the locations, individual values, clients or completion schedules of the projects covered by the latest order announcements.
The cumulative order inflow of more than ₹22,000 crore so far in FY27 indicates the scale of new business secured by KPIL during the financial year. The figure includes the approximately ₹2,349 crore announced in the latest filing, although the company did not provide a segment-wise break-up of its total FY27 inflows in the supplied disclosure.
Power transmission and distribution projects form part of the infrastructure required to move electricity between generation facilities, substations and consumers. Buildings and factories contracts, meanwhile, place KPIL in the project delivery chain for built assets and industrial facilities. The two segments therefore connect the company’s order book to both utility infrastructure and construction activity, although the filing did not specify the end-use or geographic distribution of the new awards.
KPIL reported revenue of ₹27,143 crore in FY26. The company said it had more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries, while its operations span 75 countries. These figures describe the scale of its existing execution platform, but do not establish how quickly the newly announced orders will convert into revenue or project completions.
The latest order announcement comes as the company continues to build its FY27 pipeline through domestic T&D and B&F contracts. KPIL’s next disclosures will be expected to provide further details on project execution, order-book composition and the financial contribution of the new awards.
