The deceased was identified as Aleti Shirish Kumar, a CCTV camera distributor and resident of Vanasthalipuram. Police said he was travelling from Shameerpet towards Pedda Amberpet when the collision occurred near the ORR exit.

Kumar sustained fatal injuries in the crash and died at the scene. The incident took place on a road corridor connecting northern and eastern parts of Hyderabad, with the collision reported close to the Keesara access point of the ORR.

The crash adds to the risks faced by motorists using high-speed road links and access roads around the city’s ring-road network. However, the police have not released further details about the truck driver, the condition of the truck, the exact point of impact or any additional injuries.
