The BDA plot application deadline for sites in Bengaluru’s Dr Shivaram Karanth Layout ends at noon on October 31, 2026, with applicants also required to pay the application fee within the bank’s working hours on the same day.
The Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) began accepting online applications for plot allotment in the layout on August 31, 2026. Following a revised notification, the final time for submitting applications was extended to 12 noon on October 31.
The authority has clarified that applicants can generate the required challan only until 12 noon on October 31. Fee payment must then be completed during the operating hours of the bank on the same day.
The clarification is intended to remove uncertainty among members of the public and applicants about the separate deadlines for generating the challan, submitting the application and paying the fee. Applicants who wait until after the cutoff to begin the process may not be able to complete all the required steps within the permitted period.
According to the notice reported by Prajavani, any challan generated after the specified deadline, applications submitted after the deadline or money paid after the permitted time will not be considered under any circumstances. The notice applies to the online application process for plot allotment in the Dr Shivaram Karanth Layout.
The deadline is significant for applicants because the noon cutoff applies to challan generation, while payment is tied to the bank’s working hours on October 31. Applicants therefore need to account for both limits rather than treating the end of bank hours as the deadline for generating a challan.
The BDA’s clarification does not provide details in the supplied notice about the number of sites, plot sizes, allotment schedule or the next stage after applications close. The immediate milestone is the end of challan generation and application submission at noon, followed by the fee-payment window during the same day’s bank working hours.
