To cater to the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season, particularly Diwali, the Western Railway has announced the operation of special trains connecting Gujarat to Bihar. These one-way special trains will offer a convenient and economical travel option for passengers returning home to celebrate with their families.
Special Trains and Routes include Train No. 09019 Valsad – Rajgir Special: This train will depart from Valsad on November 7, 2024, at 7:00 AM and reach Rajgir on the following day at 4:00 PM. The train will halt at Bhestan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, and several other stations en route and Train No. 09039 Udhna – Jaynagar Special: Departing from Udhna on November 7, 2024, at 11:00 PM, this train will reach Jaynagar by 11:00 AM on Saturday. The train will make stoppages at Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Jabalpur, and other stations along the way.
Both special trains will comprise Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches, catering to the diverse needs and budgets of passengers. Bookings for these trains (Train Nos. 09019 & 09039) are now open at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters and on the IRCTC website.
