Kalpataru Projects Adds ₹2,025 Crore to FY27 Order Pipeline

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,025 crore across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas, taking its order intake for the current financial year to ₹13,219 crore.

The company disclosed the wins in an exchange filing on Thursday, saying the orders were secured across its Indian and international markets. It added that the latest contracts were received in the normal course of business.

The new awards strengthen KPIL’s presence across infrastructure segments that require large-scale engineering, procurement and construction capabilities. The company said the orders span its transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas businesses, but the filing summary did not provide project-wise locations, individual contract values or execution timelines.

KPIL said it is also favourably placed or ranked L1 for orders worth more than ₹12,000 crore. Being ranked L1 generally indicates that a bidder has emerged as the lowest evaluated bidder, although the final award and contractual process may still be required. The company’s disclosure described these opportunities as providing further visibility for the year.

The latest order intake takes KPIL closer to its ₹30,000-crore FY27 order-inflow target, which the company set in May. At that time, it also outlined plans to expand into areas including solar and nuclear engineering, procurement and construction. The current announcement, however, relates to transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas orders.

KPIL’s order book stood at ₹65,457 crore at the end of FY26, while its order inflows during FY26 were ₹26,400 crore. The company reported consolidated revenue of ₹27,143 crore in FY26, compared with ₹22,316 crore a year earlier. Its consolidated profit for the year was ₹1,031 crore, up from ₹567 crore in FY25.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manish Mohnot said the company was pleased with the new wins in its transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas businesses. He said the diversified orders reflected KPIL’s technical capabilities and client confidence in its execution.

The company currently has more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries. Its business portfolio also includes water, railways, urban mobility, highways and airports, alongside power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas infrastructure. The next reported milestones will be the conversion of the L1 opportunities, project-level disclosures and the company’s progress towards its FY27 order-inflow target.
