Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,025 crore across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas infrastructure, taking its order intake for the current financial year to ₹13,219 crore.
The company disclosed the wins in an exchange filing on Thursday, saying the orders were secured across its Indian and international markets. The latest contracts strengthen KPIL’s pipeline in sectors that support power distribution, industrial construction and energy infrastructure.
KPIL said it is also favourably placed or ranked L1 for additional orders worth more than ₹12,000 crore. L1 refers to the lowest bidder ranking in a tender, although such positions do not necessarily represent final contract awards. The company’s current order intake is therefore approaching half of its ₹30,000-crore target for FY27.
KPIL had set the order-inflow target in May, along with plans to expand into areas including solar and nuclear engineering, procurement and construction. The company’s latest wins cover its existing transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas businesses.
“We are pleased with these new order wins in our T&D, B&F, and Oil & Gas businesses,” Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manish Mohnot said. He added that the diversified wins reflected the company’s technical capabilities and client confidence in its execution.
The order announcement comes against the backdrop of KPIL’s existing execution scale. Its order book stood at ₹65,457 crore at the end of FY26, while order inflows during FY26 were ₹26,400 crore. The company reported consolidated revenue of ₹27,143 crore in FY26, compared with ₹22,316 crore a year earlier.
Its consolidated profit for FY26 stood at ₹1,031 crore, up from ₹567 crore in FY25. KPIL said it has more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries, giving the order wins an international as well as domestic delivery context.
The company operates across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports. These businesses span several layers of the built environment, from electricity networks and transport systems to industrial and public infrastructure.
The latest awards do not represent a new business segment for KPIL, but add to its existing project pipeline. The company said the orders were received in the normal course of business. Details such as the individual project locations, contract durations, clients and execution schedules were not specified in the supplied exchange-filing report.
KPIL’s next stated milestone is progress towards its ₹30,000-crore FY27 order-inflow target, alongside the conversion and execution of its existing order book and projects for which it is ranked L1.
