The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of completing the various construction works at the ‘Rashtriya Prerna Sthal’, which includes the establishment of a museum. This site is set to showcase the lives and contributions of former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. In this context, a fund of Rs 21.07 crore has been allocated for the installation of three statues.
The overall estimated cost for the construction and development of the ‘Rashtriya Prerna Sthal’ is pegged at Rs 138 crore. With financial and administrative approvals in place, the process of accelerating the ongoing works under the project has commenced.
Significant progress is being made at the ‘Rashtriya Prerna Sthal’, which will feature a digital museum and various unique amenities. A large-scale parking area is being constructed to accommodate vehicles. Additionally, three helipads are being built, and statues of the three revered leaders are being installed to honour their legacies.
