Several districts appear in both the red and orange alert areas as the forecast period extends across different days.
Hyderabad and its surrounding districts have received a separate heavy rainfall warning from September 22 to September 26. The warning covers rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm in Hyderabad, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy.
For the Hyderabad region, the forecast places the city within a wider alert zone covering both core urban areas and the districts connected to its metropolitan expansion.
