The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has paused the tender process, prompting the project’s transfer to the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) under the supervision of the Maharashtra government.
Initially proposed to address escalating vehicular traffic particularly in the Wagholi area, the project aims to establish a minimum of ten lanes. Its proposal awaits crucial approval in the upcoming state assemblies or cabinet meetings.
