Pune PMC Begins Land Acquisition for Inner Ring Road to Ease Traffic Congestion
In a significant move towards easing Pune’s traffic congestion, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has initiated the land acquisition process for a crucial 5.7 km stretch of the Inner Ring Road. This stretch, part of a larger 128.08 km road network envisioned by the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), is set to be a game-changer for urban transport. Meanwhile, the Pune standing committee is expected to provide government approval for the land acquisition soon.
