Pune caste validity certificate applicants from reserved categories who entered professional courses in the 2026-27 academic year will get a special window to correct deficiencies in their applications, with the district administration organising a camp until October 17.
The initiative has been announced by the District Caste Certificate Verification Committee under the Seva Sankalp campaign. Students admitted to professional courses through reserved-category seats are required to submit a caste validity certificate at the time of admission. As a special measure, the government has granted such students an additional three months from the date of admission to submit the certificate.

The committee said the campaign will continue until October 17 and will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm.
