Oberoi Realty reported a 6.1 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 1,670.95 crore in the second quarter of FY27, even as its booking value surged to Rs 9,149.69 crore, according to results reported by Business Standard.
The Mumbai-based real estate developer recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 761.65 crore in Q2 FY27, broadly unchanged from Rs 760.26 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. Profit rose 0.2 per cent year-on-year. Revenue had stood at Rs 1,779.04 crore in Q2 FY26.
On a sequential basis, the company’s performance improved. Net profit increased 40.1 per cent from Rs 543.51 crore in the first quarter of FY27, while revenue from operations rose 28.5 per cent from Rs 1,300.89 crore. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation stood at Rs 1,084.59 crore during the quarter.
The booking value reported for Q2 FY27 was Rs 9,149.69 crore, compared with Rs 2,937.73 crore in the first half of FY26. For the first half of FY27, Oberoi Realty’s booking value stood at Rs 10,199.57 crore. The figures indicate that sales bookings grew substantially even as revenue recognised during the quarter declined.
The company attributed its quarterly performance to its diversified portfolio across residential, commercial, retail and hospitality businesses. “In the last quarter, our residential, commercial, retail and hospitality businesses continued to deliver steady performance, reflecting the strength of our diversified portfolio,” Vikas Oberoi, chairman and managing director of Oberoi Realty, said, according to the report.
The booking performance included the company’s expansion beyond its Mumbai base. In July, Oberoi Realty recorded gross bookings of approximately Rs 8,109 crore at Three Sixty North in Gurugram, its first luxury residential development in the National Capital Region. The project formed part of the company’s wider residential sales activity during the period.
The results also come with a change in shareholder distribution. Oberoi Realty’s board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 2 per equity share for FY27, equal to 20 per cent of the share’s face value of Rs 10. The record date has been set for 23 October, with dividend payments scheduled to begin on 30 October.
The company’s share price closed at Rs 1,707.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, up 0.23 per cent at the end of the trading day, Business Standard reported. The next scheduled milestones are the 23 October record date for the interim dividend and the start of payments on 30 October.
