Noida Illegal Construction Faces Sealing, Demolition in Two Villages

The Noida Authority has identified several allegedly illegal constructions in Hajipur and Salarpur villages and said the buildings will first be sealed and then demolished. The authority has released the relevant khasra numbers and boundary maps and advised residents to avoid buying or selling properties connected to the listed plots.

The action covers properties that the authority says were built without the required permissions. The public notice is intended to help buyers identify the affected land through official plot numbers and maps before entering into property transactions.

In Hajipur, the authority has identified a mall opposite Sterling Mall on khasra number 412 as an illegal construction and said it will be demolished. Constructions on khasra numbers 247 and 250 in lane number 8 leading to Hajipur village have also been placed in the illegal category.

The authority has not classified every nearby property in the same way. Land on khasra number 218 in nearby Bhangel village, located opposite the lane, has not been identified as illegal. However, a commercial property on khasra number 217 has been included in the list of unauthorised constructions.

In Salarpur, the identified structures are located near the Lotus 300 and Prateek Edifice societies in Sector 107. The listed land parcels behind Prateek Edifice include khasra numbers 759, 760, 762, 763 and 764. According to the report, these plots were earlier associated with the area near Maharishi Ashram, where small builders have constructed flats.

The authority has also released a wider list of affected khasra numbers in Salarpur to enable identification of the land and buildings covered by the action. The publication of boundary maps is significant for property buyers because village land parcels and adjoining developed areas can be difficult to distinguish on the ground, particularly where unauthorised construction has been integrated into expanding residential and commercial neighbourhoods.

Noida Authority Chief Executive Officer Krishna Karunesh said strict action would be taken against illegal constructions. The stated sequence is sealing of the identified buildings followed by demolition. The public notice and maps were issued by Work Circle 8.

The authority has asked people to verify the relevant khasra numbers and maps before purchasing or selling land or buildings in Hajipur and Salarpur. The next enforcement steps will follow the authority’s plan for the properties included in the public notice.
