Noida airport flights to Bengaluru and Kolkata will begin from October 1, as Akasa Air expands its operations from Noida International Airport and opens bookings for the two new direct routes. The airline will also withdraw its afternoon Mumbai service from the same date.
Akasa Air’s Kolkata flight will depart from Noida International Airport at 10.30 am and reach Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 12.50 pm. The return flight will leave Kolkata at 1.30 pm and arrive at Noida airport at 3.50 pm.
The new Bengaluru schedule will include flights in both directions. A flight will leave Bengaluru at 7 am and land at Noida airport at 9.45 am. The return service will depart from Noida at 4.30 pm and reach Bengaluru at 7.20 pm.
The expansion will give passengers travelling between the Delhi-NCR region and the two major metropolitan destinations another direct-air travel option. Bengaluru is already connected to Noida airport through IndiGo, which is currently operating services on the route. With Akasa Air’s addition, the airport will have services by both airlines for Bengaluru.
Noida International Airport currently has flights operated by IndiGo and Akasa Air, according to the report. Akasa Air is also planning to add new cities to its network for the festive season and the winter schedule, although the report does not specify additional destinations or launch dates beyond the Bengaluru and Kolkata services.
For passengers travelling to Ahmedabad and Pune, Akasa Air will provide connecting-flight options from Noida airport. These services will not be direct flights under the new announcement, but will expand the destinations accessible through the airline’s network.
The schedule change will also reduce Akasa Air’s direct Mumbai offering from Noida airport. The airline will discontinue its 2.05 pm Mumbai flight from October 1, even as it introduces the Bengaluru and Kolkata services. The change means that the airline’s network from the airport will be reshaped rather than expanded uniformly across all existing routes.
The new services are part of the early operational expansion of Noida International Airport, which is building direct links with major Indian cities. The Kolkata and Bengaluru flights are scheduled to start on October 1, with bookings already available, while the Mumbai flight withdrawal will take effect on the same date.
