The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. The contract, valued at Rs. 99 crore, encompasses critical civil works at five elevated metro stations along the Mumbai Metro Line-2B corridor.
The scope of the contract includes the design, supply, fabrication, and erection of pre-engineered building structural steel works. Additionally, J. Kumar Infraprojects will execute internal and external architectural finishings, along with plumbing works and interior fit-outs for the stations located at Diamond Garden, Shivaji Chowk, BSNL Metro, Mankhurd, and Mandale.
The contract duration is set at 56 weeks, emphasizing a tight timeline for completion to align with MMRDA’s aggressive expansion plans for the Mumbai Metro network.
