Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced government projects worth Rs 289 crore in Kuppam on Monday, including municipal infrastructure, water management, waste processing and renewable energy works, while outlining plans for improved rail, road and air connectivity in the constituency.
Naidu made the announcements while addressing a public meeting in Kuppam. He said projects worth Rs 38 crore had been launched or initiated in Kuppam municipality, while the total value of projects for which foundations were laid on Monday was Rs 289 crore. The programmes included the foundation-laying for local Revenue Divisional Officer and Assistant Superintendent of Police offices at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a waste treatment plant and a material recovery centre built at a cost of Rs 3.3 crore.
