Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 Expands to Six Exhibition Halls

The Telangana government is preparing to host the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directing officials to invite chief ministers from several states, global investors and companies planning new industries in the state.

The summit will be held at the Young India Skills University campus and is expected to be larger than the Telangana Rising global summit held in 2025. Officials are planning six exhibition halls for the 2026 event, compared with one hall at the previous summit.

Revanth Reddy reviewed preparations during an informal Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday and directed officials to finalise a comprehensive arrangements plan by November 15. He also reviewed arrangements at the venue, exhibition halls, international invitations and overall event management.

The government plans to appoint a dedicated liaison officer for every delegate. Officials have been directed to complete registrations and issue entry passes immediately after delegates arrive at the airport, while providing them with detailed information about the summit in advance. The Chief Minister also instructed departments to appoint nodal officers and dedicated security officers and to maintain robust security arrangements.

The summit will focus on investments, industries, advanced technology, innovation and employment. Its planned components include the Raksha Expo, India Joy 2026, a Startup Pavilion, the Pharma and Life Sciences Expo, the Agriculture and Allied Sectors Expo, the Telangana Pavilion, an Education Expo, a Tourism showcase and a Climate Conclave.

The Raksha Expo is expected to display defence and aerospace equipment, drones, robotics, space technologies and cyber-security systems. An air show is also being planned. India Joy 2026 will focus on animation, visual effects, gaming and comics, while the Startup Pavilion will feature innovations from 136 ventures.

Applications are being invited under the Telangana Innovation Startup Challenge for technology solutions in agriculture, education, healthcare, protection of government land and public infrastructure. The application window is open until November 20, according to the report.

The Pharma and Life Sciences Expo will feature 60 companies. The agriculture pavilion will showcase modern farming techniques, agricultural drones, dairy, fisheries and food processing. The Telangana Pavilion will present the state’s history, culture, handlooms, Bathukamma and Kakatiya architectural heritage, alongside its development plans and future roadmap.

The government also plans to give greater prominence to tourism and highlight major destinations to international delegates. The Education Expo will cover education, research and skill development, with discussions expected to span the sector from nursery education to advanced institutions. The summit will include 52 sector-specific sessions across four main halls.

Of the 575 organisations invited, 49 had confirmed participation at the time of the report. Twenty-five sector-specific executive councils have been constituted, and around 3,500 invitations have been issued. The government’s next stated milestone is to complete the comprehensive arrangements plan by November 15, ahead of the December summit.
