Indore IT Park-4 Gets Semiconductor Push With Rs 300 Crore Plan

Indore IT Park-4 in Pardesipura is set to host semiconductor chip-design, electronics research and digital technology operations after the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation issued letters of intent to seven companies for nearly 45,000 sq ft of ready-to-move-in office space. The proposed investments exceed Rs 300 crore, with the companies expected to create between 1,280 and around 1,500 jobs, according to the allotment details reported by the Times of India.

The proposed operations include chip design, semiconductor research and development, testing, engineering services and digital content production. The allottees include Singapore-based H-Semi Products and six Indian companies. The move expands the role of IT Park-4 beyond general office use by positioning an existing electronics-complex facility as a base for specialised technology firms.

ADT Semiconductors Private Limited, associated with Maven Silicon, has received 16,508 sq ft for semiconductor design and research operations. Its proposed employment potential is 500 jobs. Other semiconductor-related allottees named in the report are H-Semi Products, Spintronics AI Semiconductor, Truchip Solutions and Kishkindha International, which are expected to undertake chip design, research, testing and related engineering activities.

SFA Technologies is also among the companies receiving space. IKSHVAKUMEDIA will use its allotted premises for visual effects, post-production design and intellectual property creation in the animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality sector. The mix indicates that the facility is being planned for technology-linked activities spanning semiconductor engineering and creative digital production.

MPSEDC has converted an existing facility at Pardesipura Electronic Complex into bare-shell office space. This format is intended to allow companies to begin setting up operations without first developing independent premises. An official source quoted in the report said the letters of intent had been issued for bare-shell space and that the facility was aimed at providing ready-to-use infrastructure for technology companies.

The complex has 59,608 sq ft available across seven floors. Of this, 44,816 sq ft has been allotted under the detailed plan. The allocation leaves a portion of the available space unallotted, although the report does not specify the next allotment timeline or the dates by which the companies are expected to commence operations.

The employment figures vary across the reported documents and estimates. The detailed allotment plan projects 1,280 direct jobs, including 780 from the six companies other than ADT Semiconductors, while the broader proposal indicates employment potential of around 1,500 people. These figures represent projected capacity rather than confirmed jobs already created.

The development adds to Indore’s existing technology base. The city already has more than 300 IT companies and around 1,000 startups, according to the report. The proposed use of IT Park-4 will therefore depend not only on the availability of office space but also on the companies completing their operational setup and recruitment plans.

The next steps are the implementation of the letters of intent and the conversion of the allotted bare-shell premises into functioning offices by the selected companies. The supplied report does not provide a construction schedule, commissioning date or further details on the investment timetable.
