The Greater Noida Authority has approved a proposal to provide 6% population plots to 25 farmers from five villages, while inviting objections to the published eligibility list within 15 days.
The list covers farmers from Amarpur, Mycha, Pauwari, Ghanghola and Chakrasenpur villages, all located within the authority’s notified area. The Greater Noida Authority has asked people connected with the land or the list to submit written objections to the office of the Special Officer (Land Records) within the prescribed period.
The decision was approved by Greater Noida Authority Chief Executive Officer N. G. Ravi Kumar. Following the approval, the authority made public the names of the farmers considered eligible for the 6% population plots and opened the list to public scrutiny.
According to the list reported by Navbharat Times – Noida, Amarpur accounts for 15 farmers and Mycha for seven. One farmer each from Pauwari, Ghanghola and Chakrasenpur has been included. The farmers listed are those who have not yet received the 6% population plot benefit, according to the authority’s Special Officer (Land Records).
The objection process is the next formal step before the authority begins checking eligibility. Any person who has a concern regarding the land or the names included in the list can submit a written objection to the designated office within 15 days. The authority will take up eligibility verification and a decision on the claims after this objection period ends.
The 6% population plot process is linked to land acquired for development in villages falling within the Greater Noida Authority’s notified area. In this case, the authority has identified farmers who have not previously received the allotment and has placed their names before the public for review.
The published list gives residents and other affected parties a defined opportunity to challenge an inclusion or raise an objection connected with the land. The authority’s process therefore separates the publication of the provisional eligibility list from the final verification and decision on allotment.
The current announcement does not state the size, location or allotment schedule of the individual plots. It also does not specify when final allotment letters will be issued after the verification process. Those details will depend on the outcome of objections and the authority’s subsequent eligibility decisions.
The immediate deadline for affected parties is the 15-day period for filing written objections with the Special Officer (Land Records). The Greater Noida Authority is expected to begin eligibility scrutiny and take decisions after the objection window closes.
