The Ghaziabad Development Authority has approved a plan to build a two-kilometre, four-lane elevated road on the congested GT Road corridor, along with an underpass and other urban infrastructure works costing a combined ₹66.73 crore.
The elevated road will run from in front of the Ghantaghar Ramlila Maidan through Chaudhary Mor to Bhatia Mor and the Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The approved elevated road is intended to improve vehicle movement on the corridor by creating a separate four-lane alignment above the existing road.
