The draft Gautam Buddh Nagar voter list will be published on November 17, giving residents 30 days to apply for enrolment, deletion or corrections ahead of the final publication scheduled for January 4, 2027.
The revised schedule has been issued for the preparation of electoral rolls in the district’s three Assembly constituencies, using January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date. According to Deputy Collector and in-charge Assistant District Election Officer Pradeep Kumar Singh, claims and objections will be accepted from November 17 to December 16, 2026.
Residents whose names are missing from the electoral roll will be able to apply for inclusion during this period. Applications can also be submitted to correct errors in voter details or request deletion of names where required. The election department has urged voters to check the draft roll as soon as it is published so that discrepancies can be addressed before the final list is released.
The administration has set December 28 as the deadline for disposing of claims and objections. After this process is completed, the final electoral roll for the district will be published on January 4, 2027.
The schedule revision comes alongside changes to the organisation of polling locations across Gautam Buddh Nagar. The Election Commission has approved the district administration’s proposal for the reorganisation and revision of polling centres and polling stations in all three constituencies.
The district will now have 766 polling centres with 1,926 polling stations. Previously, there were 743 polling centres and 2,024 polling stations. The revised arrangement increases the number of polling centres while reducing the total number of polling stations.
In Noida Assembly constituency 61, 234 polling centres and 784 polling stations have been designated. Dadri Assembly constituency 62 will have 328 polling centres and 747 polling stations, while Jewar Assembly constituency 63 will have 204 polling centres and 395 polling stations.
The reorganisation has added 32 polling centres and 12 polling stations in the district, while nine polling centres and 110 polling stations have been removed. The revised distribution will determine where voters cast their ballots once the electoral roll and polling arrangements are finalised.
The district election administration’s immediate next step is the publication of the draft voter list on November 17. Claims and objections will remain open until December 16, followed by disposal of applications by December 28 and final publication of the electoral roll on January 4, 2027.
