The Delhi Development Authority has announced 2,516 low-income group flats in Narela at a flat 25% discount, with prices starting at around Rs 15 lakh and bookings scheduled to open on October 20 through its Awaas Portal.
The housing offer is part of the DDA Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026. The authority said the scheme is intended to meet the housing needs of economically weaker sections while supporting the development of Narela as a liveable sub-city. The flats are being offered to homebuyers and investors under a time-bound application and booking process.
The scheme brochure will be available for download from the DDA website on October 13. Registration will open at noon on October 14, while booking will begin at noon on October 20 through https://eservices.dda.org.in. The authority will provide details of the flats, including plinth areas, prices, sectors and pockets in Narela, in the brochure.
Applicants will have to pay a booking amount of Rs 1 lakh for each flat. The DDA will also charge a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500 for onboarding on the portal. Applicants who have already registered on the portal will not need to register again, according to a circular issued by the authority.
The 25% discount applies across the flats included in the scheme, bringing the starting price to around Rs 15 lakh. The information supplied by the DDA does not specify the complete price range, the number of flats in each sector or pocket, or the exact plinth areas. Those details are expected to be included in the scheme brochure.
Narela is one of the areas where the DDA has been pursuing planned development outside Delhi’s more established residential clusters. In announcing the scheme, the authority linked the housing offer to its expectation that further development in the area would improve liveability and create growth prospects. The circular, however, does not provide a detailed timeline for such development or list specific infrastructure milestones.
The scheme places the application process online through the Awaas Portal. Prospective applicants will therefore need to review the brochure, complete registration where required and arrange the booking amount before the booking window opens. The DDA has not stated in the supplied announcement how long the registration or booking windows will remain open.
The next immediate milestone is the release of the brochure on October 13, followed by registration from noon on October 14 and flat booking from noon on October 20. Further information on eligibility, flat specifications, locations and terms will be available in the brochure issued by the authority.
