Amidst ongoing endeavours aimed at water conservation and with Bengaluru experiencing heightened rainfall, the BWSSB’s latest move underscores a proactive approach towards sustainable water management. The board’s decision to install RWH systems and recharge pits in government establishments aligns with its commitment to harnessing natural resources efficiently. Emphasising the dual benefits of RWH systems, BWSSB officials highlight their role in water reuse and groundwater replenishment through percolation pits.
