Ahmedabad: Small seasonal traders in Ahmedabad have received temporary relief ahead of the festive shopping period after the municipal administration permitted several previously sealed temporary shops to resume operations under specified conditions. The decision is expected to revive neighbourhood retail activity, protect short-term livelihoods and support festival-linked commerce while maintaining regulatory oversight over public safety.
The civic administration has allowed eligible seasonal shops, which had earlier been sealed for regulatory or compliance-related reasons, to reopen for the ongoing festive season.
