Indiramma Towers Housing Allotment Letters Due This Week

Telangana Housing Board is expected to issue allotment letters this week to eligible beneficiaries selected under the Indiramma Towers LIG housing scheme, after completing field verification of 6,660 candidates chosen through a lucky draw.

Housing Board vice chairperson VP Gautham said the verification of the remaining candidates would also be completed within the week. Allotment letters will be issued to applicants found eligible under government rules, he said.

The letters will contain details of the first instalment, the amount payable, the deadline for payment and other instructions for beneficiaries. The Housing Board has advised applicants to read the allotment letter carefully and follow only the payment process specified in the official document.

Gautham said the verification and eligibility confirmation process was being carried out transparently and in accordance with prescribed regulations. He also assured selected candidates that there was no need for anxiety over the allotment of houses while the verification exercise was under way.

The announcement comes with a warning about brokers and middlemen allegedly seeking money from beneficiaries by promising to secure allotments or influence Housing Board officials. Gautham said such individuals had no role in the allotment process and urged applicants not to pay bribes, commissions or any other amount to unauthorised persons.

Beneficiaries have been instructed to make payments only to the official bank account specified in their allotment letter. They should not deposit money into personal accounts or any other unauthorised account, the Housing Board said.

Applicants who receive demands for money or are directed to make payments outside the official process have been asked to immediately inform Housing Board officials or the police. Gautham warned that legal action would be initiated against people involved in such activities.

The Housing Board has asked beneficiaries to rely on official announcements, allotment letters and instructions issued by authorised officials rather than information from intermediaries. For further information, applicants can visit the Telangana Housing Board website at tghb.telangana.gov.in or contact its call centre at 040-24603572.

The next formal step is the issue of allotment letters to candidates who complete the eligibility and verification requirements. The letters will set out the first instalment, payment deadline and other instructions applicable to each beneficiary.
