A new One Karnataka Mobility app brings ticket booking and complaint tracking for the state’s four road transport corporations onto a single digital platform, while WhatsApp ticketing has been introduced for three of the corporations.
BENGALURU | September 11, 2026 — Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar launched the One Karnataka Mobility app, the updated KSRTC Avatara 2.0 application and the WhatsApp ticketing facility at an event held at Vidhana Soudha to mark 100 days of the new government.
The platform integrates services for the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) and Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). It is intended to provide passengers with a common digital interface for transport-related services across the four corporations.
According to the information released by KSRTC officials, the app includes secure login and passenger identity verification features. Users can view previous bookings and manage transactions through the platform. The app will also allow passengers to submit complaints relating to all four transport corporations in one place, check complaint status and track the progress of resolution.
The app is expected to support digital monthly passes in a future phase. The proposed system will allow passengers to book, receive and manage bus passes online. QR code-based digital verification is also planned, although the announcement did not provide a timeline for the rollout of these features.
WhatsApp ticket booking is currently available for KSRTC, NWKRTC and KKRTC bus services. Passengers can begin the booking process by sending a message to 6364940880. Payments can be made through UPI, credit cards, debit cards and digital wallets. After a successful payment, the booking confirmation and electronic ticket will be sent through WhatsApp and email.
Tickets booked through WhatsApp can also be cancelled through the same service. Passengers must select the cancellation option and enter the PNR number, mobile number and password to complete the process, according to the details provided by KSRTC officials.
The announcement did not specify whether BMTC ticket booking would be added to the WhatsApp facility or provide details on the app’s expected user base, service-level timelines for complaint resolution or the schedule for digital monthly passes and QR code verification. The four corporations will continue to provide their respective bus services while the new platform brings selected passenger-facing functions together digitally.
