Zudio, the value-fashion retail chain operated by Tata Group firm Trent Ltd, has crossed 1,000 stores in India and expanded its network to more than 300 cities, the company said in a regulatory filing on Saturday.
Launched in 2016, the brand has served more than 100 million customers over the past decade, according to Trent. Its rapid expansion has made Zudio one of the country’s largest organised value-fashion retail networks by store count.
The milestone extends beyond a retail-brand announcement. A network spread across more than 300 cities represents a significant commercial footprint, linking consumer demand in large and smaller urban markets with the availability of organised fashion retail. Trent did not disclose the city-wise distribution of the stores in the filing.
Trent also operates Westside, a large-format fashion business, and Star, its grocery business. As of June 30, 2026, the company’s store portfolio included 301 Westside outlets and 29 stores across other lifestyle concepts. Its fashion businesses had a combined footprint of more than 18 million square feet.
The company reported revenue of Rs 19,701.41 crore in FY26. The filing did not provide a separate revenue figure for Zudio or disclose the capital expenditure, store formats, rental commitments or employment associated with the 1,000-store network.
Zudio’s expansion comes as Trent continues to build a multi-format retail presence across India. The company’s latest disclosure confirms the scale of that rollout, but further details on upcoming store openings, regional concentration and operating performance will depend on future company filings and announcements.
