Yamuna City Factories Bring ₹450 Crore Investment, 4,300 Jobs

Yamuna City is set to receive five new industrial factories involving an investment of about ₹450 crore and the potential creation of 4,300 jobs, according to an official of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). The units will manufacture ready-made garments, automobile components and corrugated packaging materials across the planned city’s industrial sectors.

YEIDA has allotted land to the five industrial units in different sectors, the official said. Three ready-made garment factories will be established in the Apparel Park in Sector 29, while the automobile-components and packaging units will be located in Sector 8D.

Among the garment units, Sahu Export Private Limited has received 2.5 acres of land and plans to invest ₹74.21 crore, creating 1,050 employment opportunities. C&R Textile has been allotted four acres and is expected to invest ₹102.26 crore, with the unit projected to provide 2,000 jobs.

SABS Exports International has also received four acres in the Apparel Park. The company is expected to invest ₹86.98 crore and provide employment to 500 people, according to the report. Together, the three garment factories account for 3,550 of the proposed jobs.

The fourth unit, SimpLast India Private Limited, will be established on three acres in Sector 8D. It will manufacture plastic products for the automobile industry using advanced rotational moulding technology. The products are also used in agriculture, industrial equipment and logistics, sectors where demand is reported to be increasing.

The proposed local production is expected to reduce dependence on supplies from other states, the report said. However, the supplied information does not specify the project’s construction schedules, commissioning dates, production capacities or the number of workers expected to be hired locally.

The fifth unit, Perfect Pack, will be established on four acres in Sector 8D to manufacture corrugated packaging materials. These products are used by the e-commerce, automobile, electronics, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical and food-processing industries. Local production is expected to reduce dependence on supplies from outside the region and support industrial activity within Yamuna City.

The land allotments add manufacturing and employment activity to the development of Yamuna City, which is being planned as a new urban and industrial centre in the National Capital Region. The proposed factories also link the city’s industrial land-use plans with sectors that supply consumer goods, automobiles, logistics and other manufacturing businesses.

The next stage will involve establishing the allotted units and beginning production. The supplied report does not provide construction timelines, statutory approval details or deadlines for commercial operations.
