Wardha has finalised arrangements for 21,742 graduate voters who will cast their ballots in the Nagpur Division Graduates’ Constituency election on October 23, with polling scheduled at 41 stations across the district from 8 am to 4 pm.

The district administration has completed preparations for the election, according to Assistant Returning Officer and Wardha district collector Vanmathi C. She has appealed to eligible voters to exercise their franchise and participate in the democratic process.

The polling network covers 12 locations across Wardha district. The largest number of stations, 11, will be located in Wardha, followed by eight in Hinganghat and six in Arvi. Karanja and Pulgaon will each have three polling stations, while Ashti, Seloo, Deoli and Samudrapur will each have two. Ashti, Anji Mothi, Sindi Railway and Sevagram will have one polling station each.

The electorate comprises 13,099 men and 8,643 women. Together, they represent the registered graduate voters in the district for the constituency election. Polling will be conducted during the eight-hour window announced by the administration.

More than 250 officials and employees have been appointed to manage the polling process. The personnel include presiding officers, polling officers, zonal officers and micro-observers. Their responsibilities will include overseeing polling stations, coordinating operations across the district and monitoring the conduct of voting.

The police administration has also completed security preparations for the election. Police officers and constables will be deployed at polling locations to maintain law and order, provide a secure environment for voters and support the peaceful conduct of the process.

The arrangements place polling operations across urban and smaller settlement locations in the district, requiring coordination between election officials, zonal teams and the police. The administration has said the deployment and preparation measures are intended to ensure that voting proceeds smoothly at all 41 stations on October 23.
