The Telangana government will invite Chief Ministers from several states and global investors to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9, with the event planned on a larger scale than last year’s Telangana Rising global summit.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed ministers and senior officials to finalise a comprehensive arrangements plan by November 15 during a review at the Secretariat. He also reviewed preparations at the Young India Skills University campus, which will host the summit.
The 2026 summit will have six exhibition halls, compared with one at the previous event. Its focus will include investments, industries, advanced technology, innovation and employment. The programme will feature the Raksha Expo, India Joy, a Startup Pavilion, Pharma and Life Sciences Expo, Agriculture and Allied Sectors Expo, Telangana Pavilion, Education Expo, Tourism showcase and Climate Conclave.
The Raksha Expo is expected to showcase defence and aerospace equipment, drones, robotics, space technology and cybersecurity. An air show is also being planned. India Joy 2026 will focus on animation, visual effects, gaming and comics, while the Startup Pavilion will feature innovations from 136 ventures.
Of the 575 organisations invited to the summit, 49 had confirmed participation, according to the report. The government has also issued around 3,500 invitations and constituted 25 sector-specific executive councils. The summit will include 52 sector-specific sessions across four main halls.
The event is being positioned as a platform to attract companies interested in signing investment agreements and establishing industries in Telangana. The sectoral exhibitions are intended to connect investment promotion with emerging technology, manufacturing, agriculture, education, tourism and life sciences.
The Telangana Innovation Startup Challenge is accepting applications until November 20 for technology solutions related to agriculture, education, healthcare, protection of government lands and public infrastructure. The Pharma and Life Sciences Expo will feature 60 companies, while the agriculture pavilion will present modern farming techniques, agricultural drones, dairy, fisheries and food processing.
Officials have been instructed to appoint a dedicated liaison officer for every delegate, complete registrations and issue entry passes immediately upon arrival at the airport. A nodal officer and a dedicated security officer will also be appointed for each department involved in the summit. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that visiting dignitaries and representatives face no inconvenience from arrival to departure.
The Telangana Pavilion will present the state’s history, culture, handlooms, Bathukamma and Kakatiya architectural heritage alongside its development plans. Revanth Reddy also directed officials to give greater prominence to tourism and showcase major destinations to international delegates. The Education Expo will cover education, research and skill development, with discussions planned across the state’s education sector.
The summit’s location at Bharat Future City places the event within Telangana’s larger effort to present the area as a future-facing investment and urban development destination. The supplied report does not provide details on the investment value expected, the projects likely to be announced or the infrastructure capacity being prepared for the event. The immediate administrative deadline is November 15, when officials are expected to finalise the arrangements plan.
