TASE Global, a Chennai-based precision engineering and integrated manufacturing company, is set to raise ₹300 crore from ValueQuest Investment Advisors’ Tristar Fund to expand capacity, integrate its US operations and pursue larger original equipment manufacturer programmes, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The investment will support TASE Global’s next phase of growth as it serves global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in technically demanding sectors, including medical and analytical instrumentation, aerospace, defence and industrial applications. The company operates manufacturing facilities and capabilities across India and the United States.
TASE Global’s capabilities include high-precision machining, complex component manufacturing, sheet-metal fabrication, specialised manufacturing processes and precision assemblies. Its stated customer relationships include Roche, PerkinElmer, Honeywell, Collins Aerospace, GE and Eaton.
The transaction places additional capital behind a manufacturing model that combines multiple precision processes rather than focusing on a single component or production capability. The company said its manufacturing capabilities and customer qualifications support its work in industries where product reliability, process consistency and stringent quality standards are important.
“ValueQuest’s partnership will support our next phase of growth as we expand capacity, integrate our US operations and pursue larger OEM programmes,” Shankar Raman Vaidyanathan, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of TASE Global, said. He added that the company aimed to build itself into a trusted partner for complex, high-value manufacturing across aerospace, medical technology and semiconductors.
For Chennai’s industrial economy, the announcement links local manufacturing capacity with international supply chains and customer qualification systems. TASE Global’s stated expansion plans cover both physical capacity and cross-border operational integration, although the company has not disclosed the locations, size or timeline of the proposed capacity expansion in the information available.
Aniket Dharamshi, co-founder and managing partner at ValueQuest, said TASE Global had strong manufacturing capabilities and relationships with global customers with demanding qualification requirements. He said these capabilities and relationships could create barriers to entry and that the company’s presence in India and the US provided a platform to pursue opportunities as global supply chains evolve.
Tristar Fund’s investment is its fourth portfolio investment after raising more than ₹2,100 crore in commitments within 15 months of its first close, according to the company statement. The fund focuses on Indian businesses developing strategic and critical capabilities in aerospace, defence, precision engineering and energy-transition-linked manufacturing.
ValueQuest said its investment approach focuses on identifying businesses with differentiated capabilities at the appropriate stage of their development, rather than relying only on sector-wide growth. ValueQuest Investment Advisors is a Mumbai-based investment management firm. The ValueQuest Group manages assets under management of ₹32,304 crore, while its private equity funds are housed under Quest4Value Investment Managers LLP, which has more than ₹6,500 crore in assets under management.
Spark Capital acted as the exclusive financial adviser to TASE Global on the transaction. The company’s next stated priorities are expanding manufacturing capacity, integrating its US operations and pursuing larger OEM programmes.
