During a meeting with officials of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), local representatives sought stronger accountability, enhanced compensation for affected families and a long-term plan to reduce environmental and public health risks associated with the city’s waste disposal infrastructure.
The civic delegation urged authorities to relocate the Moshi waste depot or significantly reduce the volume of municipal waste being processed at the site until a permanent solution is implemented.
