Pune: Homebuyers seeking affordable housing in the Pune metropolitan region have a fresh opportunity after the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) announced a new lottery for 634 residential units in Tathawade. The initiative is expected to widen access to formal housing, particularly for middle-income households, while reinforcing the role of publicly supported housing in addressing growing urban affordability challenges.

The latest housing draw forms part of MHADA’s Pune Board programme to expand residential supply in rapidly developing suburban locations.
