The review involved representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Airports Authority of India, airport security agencies, customs, immigration authorities and commercial airlines. Officials examined the airport’s operational readiness through presentations and on-ground inspections focused on passenger handling capacity, terminal operations and inter-agency coordination.
