Panvel Voter Registration Camps Set for Four September Dates

Panvel residents will be able to register as voters, correct electoral-roll details or request deletions at special camps being held across all polling stations in the 188 Panvel Assembly constituency on September 19, 20, 26 and 27, an official statement said.

The camps are part of the Special Electoral Roll Revision Programme 2026, being conducted in Maharashtra in accordance with directions from the Election Commission of India. Applications and objections related to errors, names and other details in the electoral roll are being accepted from August 31 to September 30, 2026.

Polling station officers will be present at their designated centres from 10 am to 6 pm on each of the four camp days. Residents can approach the officers to check their names and other details in the electoral roll, submit applications for new registration and request corrections.

Eligible residents whose names are not included in the electoral roll can use Form 6 to apply for registration as new voters. Form 7 is available for requesting deletion of a name from the electoral roll, while Form 8 can be submitted to correct a name, address or other detail.

The camps are also intended to help residents who have not yet been included in the voter list and those who identify errors in their existing records. Citizens have been advised to visit their respective polling stations with the required supporting documents when submitting an application or objection.

Pawan Chandak, Electoral Registration Officer for the 188 Panvel Assembly constituency, has directed polling station officers and supervisors to make arrangements for the camps. Officers have been instructed to remain present at their assigned centres on all four days and carry out voter registration and correction-related work.

The electoral-roll revision period will remain open until September 30. Residents can use the designated camps during the announced timings to verify their details and submit the relevant forms before the programme’s application and objection window closes.
