Mysuru Dasara digital streaming reached more than 1.52 crore viewers during the 11-day festival, surpassing last year’s record of 1.33 crore views and setting a new digital viewership mark for the event.
The live broadcasts were conducted in collaboration with the Information and Public Relations Department and managed by Bengaluru-based Fusion Minds Technologies Private Limited using its ‘Strata’ clean-feed technology. The company said the coverage was distributed simultaneously across television channels, digital media platforms and the Chief Minister’s official websites rather than being restricted to a single website.
On Vijayadashami, October 21, 211 national and regional television channels and digital media platforms carried live coverage of the celebrations simultaneously. The broadcast operation covered more than 150 hours of live programming over the 11-day festival, while more than 4,000 hours of video were distributed through the network.
Fusion Minds Technologies said more than 11 terabytes of data were transmitted without technical interruptions. The company attributed the operation to its engineering team, more than 40 camera and technical personnel, and the cooperation of the Information and Public Relations Department.
The figures indicate that the festival’s largest public events generated the strongest digital audiences. Performances at Yuva Dasara featuring Ajaneesh Loknath, Shankar Mahadevan, Chandan Shetty and Sid Sriram recorded 25 lakh live views, according to the information released by the company.
The Jamboo Savari, air show, torchlight parade and the procession of the golden howdah together received 22 lakh live views. Kambala was streamed continuously for 48 hours and recorded 20 lakh views. Cultural programmes at the Amba Vilas Palace venue and the Dasara inauguration at Chamundi Hill each recorded 15 lakh views.
The Chief Minister’s official social media accounts generated 10 lakh views, while satellite channels and social media reels together accounted for more than 60.5 lakh views, the company said. The figures cover multiple distribution channels, including television, official websites and social media platforms.
The record places the festival’s digital broadcast operation alongside its established physical celebrations in Mysuru. It also shows how a state-supported cultural event can be distributed through a coordinated network of television broadcasters, digital publishers, official websites and social platforms.
The Information and Public Relations Department and Fusion Minds Technologies have not indicated in the supplied report whether the viewership figures represent unique viewers or cumulative views across platforms. The reported total therefore describes the combined digital reach released by the company, rather than a deduplicated count of individual people.
The latest figures exceed the previous year’s reported digital viewership by 19 lakh, while the 2026 broadcast was delivered through more than 150 hours of live programming and multiple simultaneous distribution channels.
