Mindvault School Site Faces Construction Norm Allegations in Kompally

BRS leader Manne Krishank on Monday alleged construction norm violations at the under-construction Mindvault corporate school in Kompally and questioned its proposed annual fee of Rs 2.5 lakh per student. He also demanded a probe into alleged business links involving the school and the family of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Krishank led BRS cadres to the school site in Survey No. 87 in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, where tension prevailed, according to a report by Telangana Today. Speaking to mediapersons, he alleged that the campus did not have a playground despite being promoted as an international school.

The BRS leader also questioned the school management’s decision to open admissions for the next academic year through its website while construction was still under way. The proposed fee of Rs 2.5 lakh per student was another point raised by Krishank, who sought clarity on the basis for the charge and the status of the project.

Krishank demanded that the Chief Minister respond to allegations concerning the business interests of his daughter, Naimisha Reddy, in Mindvault. He also referred to the company’s reported plans to establish 50 schools across States and sought an explanation of the proposed expansion.

The BRS leader further alleged that several directors associated with Mindvault held positions in Medicover Hospitals and Maxbien Pharma, which he claimed were also linked to the Chief Minister’s family. He questioned whether the alleged common directorships raised a conflict-of-interest issue and called for an investigation into the matter.

According to Krishank, the BRS had been raising questions about the companies for nearly 10 days but had not received a response from the Chief Minister or the Congress government. The supplied report does not include a response from the school management, the Chief Minister’s office, the Congress government or the companies named in the allegations.

Krishank said the BRS was not opposed to private investment or development but would continue to question what he described as the alleged misuse of public office. His demands include an inquiry into the alleged business links, clarification of the school’s construction and facilities, and an explanation of the proposed fee and admissions process.
