Hyderabad Set For ₹2,000 Crore Trump Towers Project
Hyderabad: A new luxury residential project carrying the Trump brand is set to come up in Kokapet, marking the brand’s first entry into South India and adding another high-value development to Hyderabad’s expanding western growth corridor.
Tribeca Developers and Ira Realty plan to invest around ₹2,000 crore in the project, including land costs. The development will be located along Golden Mile Road and comprise two 65-storey towers with 450 apartments, including 16 penthouses. The project will have a total developable area of around 22 lakh sq ft. The developers said the investment excluding land is expected to be around ₹1,700–1,800 crore, while the land is valued at approximately ₹250 crore at current rates. With a proposed height of around 240 metres, the towers are expected to become among the tallest residential structures in South India if completed as planned. The development will also become the first Trump-branded residential project in the southern region. Apartment prices will start at around ₹5 crore, positioning the project firmly within Hyderabad’s premium housing segment. The developers said eight penthouses have already been sold, with their combined value estimated at around ₹250 crore. One penthouse reportedly commanded ₹62 crore.
The project comes as Kokapet continues to attract premium residential and commercial development. The area has emerged as one of Hyderabad’s major real estate growth zones, supported by improving connectivity, employment hubs and demand for high-end housing. The entry of another internationally recognised luxury brand could further strengthen Hyderabad’s position in India’s premium residential market. At the same time, the concentration of large developments in the western corridor raises broader questions around mobility, infrastructure capacity and access to public services. For the city, high-rise development can make more efficient use of land when supported by adequate transport and civic infrastructure. However, projects of this scale also increase pressure on roads, utilities, water supply and surrounding neighbourhoods. Their long-term urban value will therefore depend not only on the buildings themselves but also on how well the wider area accommodates growing populations and daily travel demand.
Tribeca is the official representative of the Trump brand in India and has previously developed branded projects across cities including Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, Noida and Kolkata. The Hyderabad development will be its eighth announced Trump-branded project in India. Ira Realty, which is based in Hyderabad, has developed multiple residential, commercial and township projects in the city. The company currently has more than 20 million sq ft under development, according to the developers. The proposed project reflects the continued movement of Hyderabad’s luxury housing market towards larger branded developments. Its progress will now depend on construction, approvals and the ability of surrounding infrastructure to keep pace with the city’s rapid expansion.
