Hyderabad Opens Ashray Centre for Gig Workers in Kondapur

Hyderabad now has a dedicated Ashray Centre in Kondapur for gig and delivery workers, inaugurated by Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana. Open to workers across all delivery platforms, the centre offers a place to rest and access essential facilities during working hours. This initiative, supported by the Telangana government and Amazon India, addresses the lack of dedicated rest spaces for workers who spend long hours traveling and delivering across the city. The centre marks the beginning of a planned expansion of similar facilities across Hyderabad to improve working conditions for this growing urban workforce.
