In a decisive response to recent food poisoning incidents in Telangana’s educational institutions, the Hyderabad District Collector has taken a proactive approach by appointing 82 special officers to monitor 164 residential schools and hostels. Inspections were conducted at the TGSWREIS Junior College for Girls, Mahendra Hills, Secunderabad, by the Collector and the Secunderabad Cantonment MLA. A key highlight of the initiative is the 40% increase in diet charges to provide students with better nutrition. Officials emphasised treating hostel students like family, ensuring their well-being through adherence to prescribed menus.
