The newly opened U-turn near Cyber Park became operational over the weekend as part of a live mobility trial aimed at reducing peak-hour delays in one of the city’s busiest employment corridors. The junction serves thousands of office workers daily and acts as a critical connector between Gurugram’s business districts, industrial pockets and arterial highways. Officials overseeing the trial say the reconfiguration is intended to redistribute traffic loads that have historically converged at Shankar Chowk, often resulting in prolonged bottlenecks, fuel wastage and elevated vehicular emissions.
