GMR Airports Limited has officially assumed charge of cargo operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
This major operational shift follows a government directive that revoked the security clearance of the previous service provider, citing concerns related to national security. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), which oversees aviation safety protocols across Indian airports, withdrew the security credentials of the prior cargo handler earlier this month.
