Doddagubbi PIN Code Changes to 560120 From October 15

The Doddagubbi PIN code will change from 560077 to 560120 from October 15 after the post office in the northeast Bengaluru locality is upgraded to a delivery post office, according to a report by Times of India – Bengaluru. The change will affect Doddagubbi and a wide group of surrounding neighbourhoods, layouts and residential communities.

The revised PIN code will cover Chikkagubbi, G Gollahalli, Yarapnahalli, Bande Bommasandra, Bilishivale, H Nagar, Kadagrahara, Angalapura, Kannur, Mitganahalli, Kodusonnapanahalli, Hosur Bande, Bandehosur, Byrathi Bande and Kyalasanahalli. Several layouts in the area will also come under 560120, including Kanakashree Layout, Greenwood Layout, Laxmi Layout, Maple Green Layout, Mango Meadows Layout, Shubhayog Layout, Mother Theresa Layout, Bhoo Vaibhava Layout, SKMR Layout, SL Garden and KRC Road.

The change also covers a large number of apartment and township developments. The listed communities include Purva Palm Beach, Pride Pegasus, Sattva Northland, Assetz Soul & Soil, Rohan Upavan, Ferns Meadows, Sriram Luxor, Raga Apartment, Casagrand, LG Lake View Layout, Asha Township, Orchid Greens, DS Max Springfield, Diamond Regency Apartments, LG Rose Heritage and Amrutha Vidya Nagar.

Other residential communities included in the new PIN code are Bhuvaneshwari Apartments, Amazing Grace Apartments, Potters Hand Apartments, Maniha Township, MIMS Northbrook, Secret Soil by Living Walls, Avila Apartments, SKV Diamond Apartments, RHBL Apartments, Kalya Hara Apartments and BSV Raya Apartments.

A PIN code identifies the postal delivery area used by India Post. In this case, the reported change follows the upgrade of the Doddagubbi post office to a delivery post office. That makes the postal reclassification relevant not only to the post office but also to residents, housing societies, businesses and institutions that use the locality’s address for receiving letters and parcels.

Residents and organisations in the affected areas will need to use 560120 for postal addresses from October 15, while the earlier code was 560077. The list published in the report indicates that the change extends across established neighbourhoods as well as multiple large residential developments, reflecting the spread of housing in Bengaluru’s northeast corridor.

The new PIN code will apply to the areas and communities listed in the postal change reported by Times of India – Bengaluru. The transition date is October 15, when the Doddagubbi post office is scheduled to operate as a delivery post office under the revised code.
