Delhi Weather Forecast Warns of More Rain Through September 16

The Delhi weather forecast indicates that rain and thunderstorms are likely to continue through September 16, while the India Meteorological Department has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Odisha and widespread rain in Uttarakhand over the coming days.

Delhi is expected to remain under the influence of the ongoing wet spell, with further rainfall forecast in the national capital. The continued rain could affect road traffic, outdoor activity and routine movement across the city, although the report does not specify the expected rainfall totals or any disruption advisories for Delhi.

In Odisha, the IMD has issued yellow warnings for several districts as rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue. Some parts of the state may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall through September 13. The warning covers a period when local authorities and residents will need to monitor developments in areas vulnerable to waterlogging and intense weather.

Uttarakhand is also likely to experience fairly widespread rainfall and thunderstorms. The IMD expects enhanced monsoon activity in the state to continue until September 14. The forecast comes amid continuing rainfall activity across several parts of the country, with the intensity and distribution varying by region.

Rainfall activity is expected to increase in parts of Rajasthan from September 13, particularly across the Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions. Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast at isolated places in the Kota and Udaipur divisions and adjoining areas on September 13 and 14.

Western Rajasthan, including the Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions, may receive light to moderate rainfall at isolated places from September 13 to 16. Bihar is likely to see light to moderate rain at some places over the coming days, with heavy rainfall possible at one or two locations, according to the Meteorological Service Centre.

The latest forecast points to continued monsoon activity across several states, with Odisha, Uttarakhand and parts of Rajasthan expected to see significant rainfall. In Delhi, the forecast wet spell is expected to continue until September 16. Residents and local agencies will need to follow further IMD updates as the forecast period progresses.
